The Pottery Workshop in Jingdezhen was established in 2005. Since then, we have expanded to include international residence studio, education center, creative market, Mufei gallery, café, art store, online market, ceramic supplies store and dining room. The PWS Jingdezhen is located in the Sculpture Factory, and surrounded by hundreds of small and independent craftsmen and artists, clay producers, throwers, sculptors, mold makers, blue and white decorators, glaze shops, public kilns, gift box makers, etc. We act as a mediator for international artists to work in Jingdezhen and for Chinese artists to broaden their artistic vision. Our modern facilities, bilingual staff as well as being located in the "Porcelain Capital" offers a unique experience found nowhere else in the world.Our mission is to provide professional assistance to create the best ceramic experience in Jingdezhen.

Jingdezhen

A prefecture-level city in Jiangxi Province, China, with a total population of 1,554,000. It is known as the "Porcelain Capital" because it has been producing quality pottery for 1700 years.

The city has a well-documented history that stretches back over 2000 years. Jingdezhen is one of the Chinese Historical and Cultural Cities, and was named one outstanding civilization & health city of Jiangxi Province, one tourist city of China by the end of 2007.

 
The Sculpture Factory

Established in 1956, the Jingdezhen Sculpture Factory is located in an eastern suburb, 6 kilometers away from downtown Jingdezhen. The factory is about 110 thousand square meters and 1300 workers,
including a national ceramic art master, 2 Jiangxi Provincial ceramic art master, 36 high standard craftsmen, and over 400 other craftsmen. It is considered to have one of the largest groupings of master craftsman of any sculpture factory.
